Problem Cloning :(

Hey guys, WaffleKing here, ok so ive done allot of reading on cloning and i thought i had it down, i had attempted to clone before and they were doing great for days (no wilting) but then of course my cats got to them and ate em up, but this time i have them in a safe location with much better lighting, so i took two clones yesturday from my current gal, and by the time i got up in the am, they were wilting really bad, by the time i got home from work, way worse, so i pulled them and tossed them. SO i had to go cut two more off and try again. so yall know my process incase im making a mistake, i use my lighter to sanatize the razor blade, i then cut the branch off at an angle, then instantly dunk it into my clonex. i then procede to put it in some fresh damp soil. spray them with some water, then put them in their little closet under 2 cfl lights, 2600k, unfortuanitly i do not have any kind of dome to keep it humid so i have to spray them allot. So is there something im doing wrong? i cant keep taking from my gal or i wont get anything out of her :( but i really cant afford to loose this strain, is there anyway for my to rig some sorta dome out of things from around the house? Any help would be really appreciated guys. Thanks ahead of time~!

2 inch neoprene insert and netpot with the net part cut off. put cutting in neoprene insert and drop in solo cup with water. It's not my method of choice but I don't know why not, it's the ONLY method I've had 100% success with.

you need rock well cubes. or even a sponge. there starving for water , so put it into a sponge if you don't have access to rock well cubes. and leave the sponge in a bowl of water so that a 1/2 inch of the stem stays damp and keep temps under 70f

I've never been able to clone into soil. Since I've been doing DWC, every clone I make will root. Try putting one in some water with an air pump if you have one.

I think you're leaving to much leaf matter on the clones...try cutting back most of the leaves, not ALL the leaves but most...and as the others stated moister dome them...g/l

I leave the top leaves but take the rest off
