So I've got my seeds germinated with the white root sticking out and I placed them in 16oz clear plastic cups filled with dirt. They're 1/2 inch in the dirt. So I started watering them and the water wouldn't go down into the soil, so I put some small holes in the bottom of the cups so the water could get through and it helped, but most of the water is going to the bottom of the cup instead of up higher where the seed is. what am i doing wrong?! THANKS!
