First grow everyone, so I apologize if any of this information is excess or if I'm doin anything obviously wrong
I knew I was going to be running into a few issues, these are are unfeminized bagseed so I'm really just doing a trial run before I get some real seeds. I started these seeds before I had anything, not much sun and not much warmth so their beginning development was really slow ( I live in alaska) but as it got warmer they did better. It's been around 60F at night and 80sF during the day, ~15 hours of sun.
Specs:
bagseed (started around June 1)
fox farm ocean + pro mix myco
'budget grow lights' 450w 301h LED
3x3x5 tent
water pH 6.3-6.7
transplanted to 3 gal canvas pot before moving into tent
ventilation 1 small desk fan and 1 medium circular fan
Problem:
3 days ago I was excited to recieve both the 3x3 tent and the 450w LED. I set it all up hoping they'd love it and the next day I find them starting to droop/sag/slouch. I took those two plants out and rotated two that I had outside into the tent. The next day they're droopy! I turned the light down to around 60%, and added another normal fan, no ducting. All the holes of the tent are open and one is pointed out a window. My neighbor was convinced they were just thirsty so I gave them a good watering, considering I had the fan pointed at the pots. Still not looking good, while the ones I had outside the whole time seem to be doing great. A day since watering the topsoil is starting to show dryness.
I'm convinced it's the ventilation so I'm keeping the tent unzipped and the fans on. I also thought it might be cold shock from having the fan on the roots when they were still wet overnight with the temp at 60F. The light is around 60%. I just want the plants to like the new stuff I bought em
Since moving the two outside they seem to be doing better.
What do you think guys? Get a real inline fan with some ducting?
