yeah they work and they are pretty cool, from what i have seen down at a friends grow store they are good for cuttings and veg, they really dont preform good at flowering, while the spectrum is great they dont have the brightness to form compact buds and resin production suffers as a result, from what i have seen you need at least 1 watt per bulb otherwise your wasting your time, if i were to have one it would be great for a clone/veg stage and then use a hid for flowering but hey if you have it then give it a run, but from my experience i just dont think led's are up to the task yet however in a few years i think they will be in almost every room but for now the cost is just to much to justify being you can do the same with cfl's for a lot less
