Should be a short and sweet thread here. What is the pH of this supposed to be? I've heard any where from 5.9-7. I have been using 6.3-6.5. I am having trouble and wondering if this could be the problem. Thanks.

Oh well, going with 5.9-6.0. Hope it is right. Can't wait any longer. I know it's only been an hour since i posted this, but they are thirsty! And it doesn't look like anyone is gonna roll along with the info i need tonight. Found an old thread that the manufacturer suggests 5.9. Dutchmaster uses 6.0... Everybody feel free though to tell me how I fudged up becuz it is supposed to be this or that pH. Goodnight!

Promix info is kind of hard to find, it is normally buried inside other threads.
Here is a great thread with a bunch of promix info, homebrewer grows in it so look for him. I pulled a couple quotes from the thread

Not to mention, if you haven't already, you can email them and thy will send 2 8oz samples of your choice for free. I got grow and bloom, I'm using them for my soil moms until I can get quality seeds for my mom. Until then, bag seed soil are my mom while I take clones from them, and use for my new method! Pretty excited to try it.

Good looking out, bro! I yike free stuff. Ha. Good luck with your grow! Them bagseeds can be pretty good sometimes. I grew one out not too long ago just for the hell of it. It had the best tasting Lemon-pledge flavor. I was truly surprised. And she looked shitty as hell until she got going in flowering. I supercropped her and I swear she looked like the Charlie Brown Christmas tree on meth! Ha. I lol'd hard at her after I done that. I didn't think she'd turn out at all, but boy was i surprised. Ha.

Theyre decent, better then nothing, and better then the smoke I got it from. I've always did bagseeds. This is my 6th grow now, and last grow I happened to find 1 seed out of 3 ounces so I'm growing it this time, and it's looking good. They all 3 look decent, but they are getting used for clones and most likely trashed after that or until I can buy seeds. I took clones for the first time idk when can't remember lol but they haven't drooped and died so I'm guessing all 3 survived. I'll transplant into my coco hempy soon...idk when lol. Only thing I'm not sure about is having 6 plants 3 are like 2 weeks behind the other lol. But hopefully I'll be able to make it perpetual harvests sometime. Sorry for the long ass text

Sounds good, man! I plan on some bagseed experiments one day. I think that bagseeds have come a long ways by now. With all the genetics that have been prevalent for so long now, it has to be some kind of good genetics in there somewhere. Just find ur keepers. I guess the seed companies might not want you to think this way though. Ha... No worries, man, I ramble and ramble and ramble! i have to restrain myself a lot. Ha. I'm turning into my old man! Haha.

Well last grow, I used a 400w magnetic cheap hps system by htg supply, for this grow, I upgraded to a 600w hps phantom ballast.
I used to grow with a cool tube using the 600 in a 3x3 tent. However after some posting and reading, a guy suggested me to try vertical bare bulb, using a wall of weed which is a vertical scrog basically, feed kiss style which is maxi bloom powdered the whole way through the cycle. My hydro store gave me a ounce of flora plus and said it will "fatten things up during flowering" so I'm going to use that as well. He also suggested coco hempy buckets which is passive hydroponics. Coco is a soilless medium, so it gives results similar to hydro. If my memory is right, he said I should be able to pull 10-15 oz my first Tim trying so I'm giving it a shot.. I'll be happy with 8. I'm going to use 6 3 gallon coco hemp buckets, since the fencing on my wall is 4 ft high, I'm going to veg until 1.5 feet tall, and hopefully flowering will stretch and do the rest. If I have to, I'll raise my light up when I first flip to make them stretch.
maybe I should also add, I normally smoke all I grow, my biggest yield under the 400 was 4 oz. I'm hoping th 600 will do the job and give me enough to smoke and sell to pay for my supplies and nutes. If I do, my smoke will be 100% free which is a win win for me and with winter here, I'm debating on if I should get another vertical socket and use both th 600 and the 400 to total 1k watts. I talk a lot...

Oh, shit, dude, i talk a lot as well. Now especially compared to a couple years ago, I don't shut up. Haha. Come out of the blue kinda. Turning into my old man! Ha. But that sounds great man. 10-15 sounds awesome! Yeah, they money doesn't grow on trees. BS! It will pay off for ya and then some. A hell of a 'some'! I have 2 -400watters in 12sq.ft. About perfect for my needs right now. One is getting older and I might upgrade soon too. But my biggest problem with yield has been not enough veg time or enough plants to fill my area. I been force flowering too young, really. Now I have a perpetual set up, I don't have to worry about time restraints. Another thing I do in the winter, is use my grow rooms as a heat source. Just pump it where ya need it. Winter growing is cool because I can dial temps in about perfect. You can add more lighting this way too. Sounds good though, bro! Good luck to ya!!

Just an update, here. Plants had the droop bad. Slow top growth. Roots looked good. Watered with correct pH(thanks ricky1lung!) and then in a couple days when dried, i transplanted to 1 gal. of PromixBX cut with 25% Sub's Super Soil and they are growing like a 'weed' should now. Amazing stuff this Super Soil!!! Happy Happy Happy is me!!! Thanks to Sub and all the wonderful people, such as yourselves, for all the work that you put into this stuff!!! You are my heroes!!!!!! And yes, TGA seeds are the bomb too! Grew a Dairy Queen, i believe it was, and some Chernobyl'sm, and something else. A couple were freebies. Hell, this was one of my first grows and I can't remember. I had no idea what was good then, either. Got lucky. I was like a kid in a candy store. I had no idea that I would ever be smoking this good of strains in my lifetime. Shit has progressed! Happy happy happy! But, I am definitely going for some TGA next grow! Make this 100% TGA legit
