prop 65 warning label

all the self adhesive seals I found at local store had a California prop 65 warning label they where silicone/epdm seals. i'll try another store tomorrow but was just wondering why you can use epdm for fish ponds but it has that warning for a rubber seal? silicone I didn't see on the prop 65.

The limits established by Proposition 65 are as follows:

Arsenic: 10 micrograms
Cadmium: 4.1 micrograms
Lead: 0.5 micrograms
Mercury: 0.3 micrograms
Vitamin products containing all natural ingredients are naturally going to contain these substances.
