Propagator's 420 Grow

Welcome growers and cannabis connoisseurs! I would like to share my personal grow with you fine gents, in hopes of receiving advice and information from the more experienced.
So here we go! It all started early this spring, when I sprouted 3 bag seed I collected from different buds. They were just thrown in potting soil and they grew! I only harvested about a half ounce between the three, but I was hooked!

The closet grow is lit by a 600w HID, in some FFOF with coco and extra perlite.
My Jupiter OG x Corleone kush are just finishing there 3rd week, from seed.

Also just potted a Jedi kush, and Tahoe OG clones from a local dispensary into 5g buckets.



I also ordered some Barney's Critical Kush, and Auto Candy kush, but all I received was an opened package with some sewing beads in it. Green taped, and a letter of seizure from LA customs. Bummer. I payed for guaranteed stealth shipping, so we will see what happens. I just made another order from a different seed bank, of some Master Kush. I hope they make it!



I also have another Jupiter x Corleone, that hasn't been doing so well. Can anyone tell me if she is worth keeping around? Or is this plant just 'lame'. He sprouted the same day as jupiter #2, but is lacking!

you should attempt an LST on one of those plants if you aren't doing Sea of Green or Screen of Green growing techniques... really makes for a shorty bushy plant that yields well!

Sounds good! I have been reading up on the stickies here about LST, topping, fimming, scrog, etc. Im still trying to figure out the best way to fill out my closet, while these plants are taking off! Its approx. 3'wx5'lx9'h, so I dont think height will be any problem.

I added 2 more clone's today for a total of 6 plants! Welcome Master Bubba and Skywalker OG! I will have to wait until the lights come back on I guess, for some pictures.

Thanks! Ya it better be real! Haha, I bought it from a local dispensary, so they should be legit. It was the only Skywalker they had and it was a little bit smaller than the rest of the clones. I almost picked up a strawberry dream too, but I think i am at my limit.

Today my father and I (He's my partner in this whole thing and has helped tremendously) did a little work in the closet. We put the buckets into individual catch basins, to make more room. Then we mounted the carbon filter and fan up to the ceiling of the closet, also for more room. Then we got bored and decided to set up a scrog screen, to have an even canopy, since the Jupiter's are farther along. Let me know what you guys think so far!

Advice, constructive criticism, or thumbs up; Lets hear it!

So today I received my beans, I got:
Master Kush-5-RegularSpliff Seeds
Sleetstack x Skunk 1 Reg (x2) free
White Widow x AK Fem (x1) free
Auto Somango x Auto Blueberry Fem (x1) free
NYD x OG Kush Fem (x1) free
Started setting up another cabinet for my veg, have a 300w cfl 2700k for now. Have 2 clones I took from Jup#1 that look to be doing well in there. Haven't mapped out yet when I should start sprouting some of these guys. Any advice on any of these strains would be great, iv'e done a bit of reading on the master kush but not really the freebies. Thanks!

Really curious to see how an autoflower grows, so today I put the Auto Somango X Blueberry in some soil! Will just grow her out in my veg box on 18/6. Picture update tomorrow morning!:bigjoint:

I had a plant looked like that funky little one,it grew slow at first then all of the sudden it took off,i was sure it was female,but,i was wrong,it turned to be male,a very nice male,i used it to polinate the lower branchs on my plant,hand polinate,got some good seeds out of it,then cut them lower braches off,gona use them for my next grow! good luck with your grow,nice post.

Back for a little update! :weed:
Here is a glimpse of the beginning stage of my veg box. Needs a lot of work still, I know.

Just picked up this cfl bulb, looks pretty good for flowering that Auto in the veg box. What do you guys think?

i started mine in flower when they was about that big,,they maxed out at about 26 inches,,,whell heres a pic or 2,, there 11 weeks in flower now,,very nice buds for small plant,just to give u an idea,and that runt looks like the one i talked bout even more now,lol,hope its a female,be interesting,also mine was putting out alot of 6 n 8 peddle leafs instead of 5 n 7 was very cool lil male plantView attachment 2863157

I feel like your vegging plants could use more lighting.. Stretching, small number of leaflets, and probably slow growth are the result of either not enough light or over watering.. Due to the stretch, however, I would assume there is not enough light and/or the light source is too far. You should look into starting in smaller containers. In addition to being better for efficiently using lighting I feel smaller containers dry out quicker allowing roots to grow quicker.

I was using like 10 x 23 watt CFLS for a 2 x 2 x 3 space and it was NOT overkill by any means... by day 20 from seed I had 10 or more colas per plant. That was even 2700k... the 6500k would be even better for Vegging.

Those guys are under 600w Metal Halide, and the light is maybe 1.5 ft from the top of the tallest plant. You maybe right about jumping straight into 5 gallon pots.

That did get me thinking about having an even canopy, all getting even lighting. So today I made a few adjustments in the Flower room. Also took a better picture of the closet so you get a better idea of the space im working with.
