Well I'm back, sort of. I am usually extremely busy so don't know how often I'll be updating. I'll add more info as I go but for now a few quick details.

Roughly 4 weeks into flowering at this point.

Setup:

Dark Jardin DR120 Tent 4'x4'
I have a plastic trellis tied to the corner posts of the tent with baggy ties which creates the screen and uses the entire 4x4 area.
8 clones from previous bagseed mother (supposedly permafrost see sig for that grow)
5 gallon smart pots
House and Garden Coco
Nutrients
AN Sensi 2 part using at half strength
AN Big Bud
CalMag+
Hygrozyme

Lights:
Prosource 180W Jumbo LED
2x 200W CFL 2700K
1x 250W CFL 6500K

Keeping the tent at 85ºF and 40%RH as suggested by Prosource for growing with LEDs

A few pics (more later):

So frosty for ones so young! Good job so far, what did you determine was the problem from the last grow with the air buds?

The original strain was permafrost so that would live up to it's namesake.

The problem with the airbud, was really just me not knowing what I was doing.

I didn't have CalMag+ which is essential with coco fiber (or other cal mag alternatives)
I wasn't watering to waste with coco which is needed to flush out excess salts
I wasn't flushing enough PHed water through during the flushes to prevent salt buildup which at first I wasn't doing at all as you remember from my previous journal
I also realize there is a big difference between 77ºF and 85º F when growing with LEDS, the plants just grow MUCH better at 85º F
I got my humidity under control and have it between 40-50%
I have an exhaust fan going now to keep fresh air moving through the tent

I also just generally understand things better
I know how to fix small problems and not over react to them if my leaf tips are little yellow and my runoff is high I don't need to get crazy just do a little flush to take out some of the salts
If stems are purple I need more calmag, etc...
It's all a learning process

ALSO!!!

Neem oil... be careful with it, I didn't follow the instructions and didn't really understand how it worked and it contributed alot to the shitty outcome of my last grow as well as almost killed this grow until I stopped using it. I have not started using it again but have read it works fine when used properly. I was not using it properly and had very large issues.

I learned a hell of a lot of shit this last grow myself, harvested pretty well but thats due to overall growing experience but it could have been way better. I'm venturing into autoflower's this go around, still got 2 fem'ed reg seeds going but I'm taking a new plunge. It sounds like you have a lot more figure out as well and I know this grow is gonna be a killer one for you bro. Keep them lights closer to avoid so much stretch as well but I am sure you know that. Best of luck ill be checking in when you update!

Coming along nicely, I had a bit of a mag def again but it was actually caused by lockout because my PH was off as my batteries were low in my meter, recovered from it nicely and things are progressing along. Calyxes are really fattening up! I'm also trying a new image host, hopefully better quality let me know what ya'll think of the host.

look good, give me hope for my LEDs :D

and make me consider to add a few CFLs to my LED fixture, would have liked a few 2700K LEDs in my flowering fixture now that I look back, and would also like to cover a few inch`s more out to each side, and just saw my local "Walmart" have some 40W (equal to 150W) 2700K bulbs on sale for 6$ each

your set up just gave me some inspiration for sure, a single 40W on each side will provide some more light at the ends of my LEDs and some 2700K

thanks and Rep. :D

btw
I also have very frosty sugar leaves/bud`s already in the start of week 3, way in front of the HPS grows Im used to, so quality will be better Im sure, amazing how fast the LEDs promote trichomes :D

well I already have a good amount of 6500K LEDs in my fixture + a lot of 600-700nM Red`s but a little 2700K wouldn't hurt Im sure and would also be nice to cover 5" more to each side, so the edges of my plants get a bit more light, the bulb`s would also provide some better "side" lightning as the LEDs is pretty much one directed, the CLFs would illuminate my little maylor grow space

Im a metal smith so I will make some aluminum sheet in to some DIY light shades/bulb holder, I can mount on the LED fixture, to bad its holiday and shop`s are closed, on the other hand Im off from for 3 more days :D so need to wait anyway :D

Looks good! Good luck to you on your grow. What is that you are using for your screen? My biggest downfall in this grow is the screen I chose is terrible it's not supporting the heavy buds well and isn't nearly maximizing my yield. I see what I need to do for next time but I'm curious what you are using as it looks perfect!

just normal chicken wire, the one with the small holes, about 1 inch, but two inch is actually to prefer, just get some metal wire fencing or similar

So these ladies haven't been too stinky until recently but the past few days wow! The buds are swelling up, more frost is appearing, and the smell... Oh the smell! It's like a strong smell of grapefruit mixed with skunk and some sandlewood undertones. Absolutely intoxicating! I'll post more pictures soon!

Honestly I'm not keeping a schedule or anything like that. I've read from old school growers to just feel it out and listen to the plant. I know not everyone will agree but it seems to be working. I'll kind if be going by the philosophy it's done when it looks done. I do check the trichs with a magnifier though as well as I'm watching for other signs. They seem to have a but of time to go on say a few more weeks maybe.

Yea this go around I am counting the days, but only as a general guide. The old timers are right, its done when it looks done, I think I harvested a bit early last time just going off the 9 week mark and looking at the trich's. Your ladies are looking beautiful! Get some new pics up soon! Are you following a nutrient schedule or just watching the plant to see what it needs? I hope you get a large, dense bud harvest this time, your putting in the work, you deserve good results!

If I clone a monster cropped plant will the clone be monster cropped or would I need to get mother into flower then cut a clone? Then back to veg?
