Protecting from caterpillars and spider mites ?

What are good things to use to keep the pest away ?

Neem for spider mites, either pre-mixed, which is easier obviously, or you can buy pure Neem oil and mix it yourself. Neem oil is a natural extract from the Neem tree. It also works well for powdery mildew. I don't have any suggestions for caterpillars, I don't have issues with them(knock on wood) where I live, too cold.

Spinosad works good for both pest.

I would opt for an inch or more of welded armor steel.
