Pruning week 2 flower

I have 20 plants in 2 gallon smart pots growing in coco. I gave them a good pruning before switching to flower but after 2 weeks there are quite a few flower sites below the general canopy. I'm doing what I can to pull the highest sites down but if I do too much more of that I won't be able to fit them all in my 5 x 5 tent. Is there some degree of pruning I can do in week 2 of flower? If so is there any particular technique I should use to avoid triggering a hermaphrodite? Pictures attached, polite pertinent comments are appreciated

Anyone? Also, I went ahead and remove a couple flower sites. But checking for hermies is going to be a pain in the ass with 20 plants. If any do go Hermie as a result when could I expect to start seeing signs?

Hi,

I would personally remove lower growth and small bud sites that are not getting light. Fan leaves, small branches in some cases, etc. Best of luck!

yeah looks like you have allot of small branches that will just take energy away and produce nothing. i wouldn't prune in flower thou i like to do it the week before flip and give them a recovery week. lolipoping is the way to go.

Your rite in realizing not to be pruning stuff off during flower ....the only thing I'd do in flower is tie them the best you could .....but next time get your pruning done if you have to do it in veg ....good luck

It's like I prune it so much in veg, then a week after I flip new shit keeps popping up in places I don't want. I think it's something to do with using clones. When I use seeds the plant is symmetric and I know exactly what to cut and get a great canopy. But with clones it's like they randomly sprout a flower site anywhere. And it's so frustrating because I know it's just going to suck energy from my grow and not even be worth manicuring, but if I cut it may decide to have a sex change. Ah!
