Hey guys,
I've just recently started setting up an automated watering system for my 2 room 15000w show. I grow in 10gal air pots and have been hand watering until now. My watering setup is going to be a simple drain to waste setup. I'm pumping from a 50 gallon rez with a float valve through 1/2" hose which feeds 1/4" feeder lines to stake emmiters (http://www.agriculturesolutions.com/products/irrigation-and-watering/emitters-and-sprayers/shrubbler-adjustable-360-degree-sprayer-spike-detail).
Each room has about 30 plants each and I would like to have each on their own individual timers because they are staggered so they will be at different stages of growth thus needing less or more water. I need to be more educated on pumps as the pump I have isn't cutting it (http://www.progressive-growth.com/proddetail.php?prod=mondip). I set up one room with 32 emmiters and this pump doesn't put out the pressure needed to get a nice spray out of the emmiters. Water comes out but I need more pressure to be able to dial each individual pot to suit each plant better. The local grow shop carries this pump (http://www.progressive-growth.com/proddetail.php?prod=35048). Anyone know if this would be good for my needs or if it's dependable as a hydro pump?
I don't know much about what to look for in a good reliable pump and what sort of rating to look for to suit my needs. Do I just look for GPH or is GPH different than pressure? Any advice will do, just don't really know anything about pumps, also I'm probably going to need a pump for each room so I'd like to keep the price around $200 for the pump. Unless someone knows how to set up a system that can use one pump for two rooms but have each room individually controlled and teach me how to set it up.
Thanks
