Pump for DWC

I'm doing my first DWC grow. I plan on keeping it small, one plant under a 400w light. I assume I don't need a very expensive pump, but a quiet one is ideal. This is probably a simple question, just want to make sure a cheap $15 pump works fine and there's nothing else I should consider. Thanks!

This is the minimum that I use , pump is good for a 30 - 60gal fish tank, Wally-World for $twenty something.

Air is kinda like light, hard to have too much.
