Pump to waste?

Hello all,

I am trying to setup an automatic runnoff pump in my 3x3 setup to remove all my waste to a drain about 6 feet away. Has anyone set up a condesate, inline transfer, diaphram+float to achieve this? I have done quite a bit of research but cannot find one that will sufficiently drain my tray.

I’m not too sure about what it is you currently have in mind. I can give you a simple cheap solution to get your runoff pumped out to your drain. I’m not sure if the proper name for the float switch is but it looks like this. Set it up in a square 5 gallon bucket w a bulkhead fitting for your incoming waste water and a small pump that the float activates to pump the waste to your desired location. It acts sorta like a brain bucket for a flo-n-gro system. Most any hardware or big box store will have one the square bucket just makes mounting the bulkhead fittings a little cleaner and less prone to leakage. If I misunderstood your intentions my apologies otherwise I hope this helps image.jpgimage.jpg

You can use either a Little Giant condensate pump if you're only talking a bit of runoff, or go with something like a Seaflow Bilge pump w/ integrated float for higher volumes of water. I use a bilge pump, 1100 GPH Seaflow, and it takes care of all of my runoff.

The sea flow bilge pump looks amazing. That looks like an upgrade I could use. Great recommendation!

I'm glad I found this post. I was thinking of installing a floor drain in a concreate slab, so I could convert from recirculating to run to waste, but a bilge pump will definitely be a cheaper solution.
