Does anyone know where one would be able to purchase large amounts of inventory of hydro equip for the cheapest price possible to sell from your own business? Obviously these retailers are getting it from somewhere else at a discounted rate to markup to its customers but my guess is that the equip will even be expenisve for the retailer. Any help pointing me in a direction is much appreciated.

If you are talking about being a legitimite retailer, get yourself a d.b.a (Business License - "Doing Business As") and a Resale Permit. Armed with these two pices of paper, you may purchase merchandise at real Wholesale prices (manufacturer or distributor prices directely to the retail seller). Contact the manufacturers or distributors direct to find out what thier policies are. Real Wholesale prices also tend to be "Tax Exempt", so be sure to keep good records.

i find the best prices at ebay and htg supply. as far as wholesale prices, the only way i got equipment that cheap was from a friend who owns a hydro shop. the amount i saved compared how long the shipping took was not even close to worth it though. had to wait for enough money to be spent to save on the shipping. another way to save prices for hydro setups is make them yourself as far as aeroponic, DWC, etc. lot of info on the net on how to make them.
