well has anyone had pure thc before? can you make it? i've heard you can and my friend is a chemical engineer and get can pretty much anything to make anything so we were going to try it.
keep in mind this is not something you can just whip up in the garage, but yes it is possible to MAKE pure thc.... if your buddy is a badass chemist with access to an equally badass lab to do it in; i point him here...

first page is an overview.. there are links at the bottom of every page to go to the next step in detail....
i know... some people are gonna say that hash oil is simple to make, and almost pure.... but if you had the knowhow and the resources, doesnt this sound worth trying

??? (below is quoted from link above)
THC-V This compound is the most potent of all the reported variants,
and it is 500 times more active than THC (effective dose 1/500,000 gm. per kilogram). In this case the alkyl side chain (1',2'-dimethylheptyl) contains seven carbon atoms in a straight chain, with 2 methyl groups attached as branches to the first and second carbon atoms. The first methyl branch (shown as X on the chart) is attached as described for THC-III or IV in reactions (e)(f)(g). The second methyl group (Y) is not attached separately but is an original part of the 2-methylheptanonitrile used in method I, or the 2-bromo-heptane used in method II. (Reference 130)
