I think most people into tech shit like that would build it themselves before spending 1000's on a $150 worth of parts. Im not knocking it and I built something similar with plans for resale but went nowhere with it. you might look at quantum9.net they are supposed to be releasing something very soon.
theres also a bunch of aquarium reef controllers that will do the same sort of things you might want to look at. Most of those lack a logging function though.
its a slick looking system but its just not worth the money imho. I run 7 rez so you have to buy additional dongles for each... gets really bad then.
you can look at arduino grow controllers there are a few free/opensource projects out there.

If you need to run a warehouse and you do not want to be physically there everyday to check on the reservoir, then those are for you. If you live where you grow, there is no point in such a device.
An good environmental controller will do you more good than automation like that. You can build yourself with logging and timestamps on arduino, or buy something like a kronus from Titan. If you could use that grobot, you would know exactly how and what it does already.

If you are interested in GroBot you should check out HarvestBot, similar device. I've been using a prototype version and I'm pretty happy with it so far. Here is a link to the site, www.harvestgeek.com though I don't think they have any information on how to get one yet. Might be worth subscribing to updates.

The wifi on the machine, that is needed to view, monitor and change setting is pretty finnicky with my experience. The instruction/troubleshooting manual is of little to no help. In fact the manual is more like a padded review of how great and easy it works, not what to do when it doesn't (which seemed to happen often). Multiple dosing issues regarding Ph has left me not trusting the machine. The manufacturer and its minions (atlantis) sure do talk it up, but the performance capabilities have yet to be realized due to errors, connectivity issue and dosing discrepancies. Look elsewhere for an automated system, this one is troublesome.

Grobot is pure bullshit....i wasted thousands of dollars on that product to try to get it to work. You cant get an honest review anywhere on that web because the owner spams the web with BS. I sent that thing back to him 5x and it never worked right....i spent hours on the phone troubleshooting.

He would always say it was user error....would not accept his product is bunk.

Do not waste your money on this product. It is BS.

Oh and i could not get PH to work properly...it fluctuates and the owner will always blame you using a faulty probe or your plants. He has no clue on gardening and is completely winging it. The product does not work. I wasted over 3k on this and tons of hours and got nowhere. I have 2 units if anyone is interested.
