purple?

i am using dyno-grow. why are two plants out of three turning purple from the middle up?

im guessing you mean the stems?

its very common for seedlings to have a reddish-purple stem , in some cases its genetic and will not go away.

how old are they? any pics

they are about a month and a half

here is a shot of one of mine, the stem is pretty purple. but that is normal on a lot of plants. at least on mine.

depends on the strain... check out your strain online and see if it has purple characteristics..
Purple stems mean very little usually, people always freak out about purple stems, DON'T SWEAT IT!!! your leaves will tell you when there's a problem and lots of breeds grow with purple stems, WW, AK-47, White Rhino, Nebula (both strains), Somango, Chitralah, Bhuddas Sister, S.A.G.E., Black Domina, etc., all have purple stems.
it can also be caused by low night temps......
if not, its prolly a deficiency...phosphorous usually
