Pushing hot air through sealed light. Will it work the same as sucking air through?

I have a portable a/c unit. It still has to vent hot air out of the unit with a 4 inch hose. I was wondering If it would be practical to vent the hot air through a sealed light. Then out into my ceiling? I know the air would still be cooler then the light its selfs and would always be moving. Has anyone tried this? I know your suppose to suck the hot air out of the light fixture so this would be in reverse. I have to vent the air out no matter what, so I figured maybe I could cool my light with it to. Kill 2 birds with one stone.

so the bulb is like in a cool tube? one side is gonna be attached to the a/c hose and the other side out of the grow room...through the bulb

i think its gonna work because a bulb can hold very higher temps.

peace

ps. sorry for the english

This will dramatically decrease the life of your bulbs and raise your temps and won't cool your lights as the air from the a/c exaughst air gets pretty hot. Also, pushing air is about 10% as effective as pulling air so you wouldn't get as much air flow so if you did do this I would add an inline fan near your exaughst outlet to aid in pulling air. If you don't add something to aid in pulling the air through your lights it could effect your a/c causing it to not get enough ventilation resulting in poor perfromance or cause damage to your a/c.

Alright thanks for helping. I probably won't even try it as it seems like it will hurt more then anything.
