Basicly im in a bit of a pickle
Ive literally got no money available to buy new soil and i need to transplant 2 ladies because the roots have started to peak out of the bottom of the pot
Ive got some old moist soil in the shed thats been there for a while and probably has bugs living in it. I used it for a few seedlings a month ago and all the seedling died from what i assume is pythium (dampened off i think is the term).
Im wondering if i could use this soil for my root bound plants. I was thinking of absolutly drenching the soil in a strong solution of root excelurator, flushing it then using it. I wouldnt really be considering this but i am quite desperate, as i said for the next few weeks I wont have money to buy new soil...
Opinions please????
Apologies in advance if this sounds completely stupid
