Got a few questions from a newbie to Leds to the Pros
Thanks for your time.
I plan on buiding a grow box (2.5x4.5), so low heat, complete coverage, even with lights on low power and close, and restricted height.
I will be growing SCROG.
I planed on using 6 boards making a 18x36 grid, actually it will be larger with a 3" spacing between boards.
I was thinking 2 boards in center @ 3500k hooked to a HLG-150-36B. So I can use just 2 boards for seeds, clones, and start of veg.
The 4 boards on the ends @ 3000k connected to a HLG-320H-36B or 2 more HLG-150-36Bs.
I was going to run the drivers seperate from the fixture and use 2 100K OHM Linear Taper Dual Gang Rotary Potentiometers on fixture.
What you think?
Should I go with just 3500k boards? I read where you recommend that once before. I will have 4 of each boards, 3000k and 3500k.
Am I using to many boards? I thought about using 4, but 6 will give a more even light distribution for sure, with lower power and less heat.
Gonna use 18 AWG Gauge Red Black Stranded OFC CCA1 wire and tin ends.
Is there a problem with my selection of drivers?

Sounds good to me.

If your height restricted then use more boards, if you have 8 use them. Means overall you will be running them softer and can be closer to plants, might gain you an inch or two.

Think I would aim for 320-350w range across all the boards. 3500k on their own driver as you suggested sounds good.
