As the title states, I've got two different plants growing in one reservoir. One plant is a Northern Lights fem and the other was one of the free seeds I got with the Northern Lights order. The problem is that one is currently finishing flowering and the other(Northern Lights) is just beginning to flower. Live and learn. So, my questions to you all are as follows:
1) What will I do for final flush on the little plant that has done so well while the NL is just starting to bud ? I'm worried about the final product of the little plant being full of nutes and tasting badly. On the other hand, the buds on the NL are gonna need all the nutes they can get. I know I've read on this forum that I could just go with straight water for the entire grow and expect a much smaller yield; so I'm thinking of just running straight water for the next week or two while the little plant finishes herself off, then switch back to nutes for whatever will be left of the NL's bud cycle. I'll try to attach pics of the two plants side-by-side so you can get an accurate understanding of my problem.
2) How do I change nutes given the mess I've created with the long plant stems on the NL? Moving the plant, at this point, will mean serious injury and lifting the reservoir lid will move the plant? Should I get one of those battery operated pumps and pump out water through one of the unused holes in the top of the lid or what? The suspended scrog net is just there to hold up the plant as well as it will allow, I didn't plan on scrog with my first ever grow. The net is more-or-less using the top growth weaved in-between the netting to lift up the plant and take pressure off the stems.

3) Can anyone tell me what sort of plant the little girl is? She's just about perfect for my grow space, and I'd like to look into more fem seeds like that in the future. I simply have no clue as to what pheno it may be. I'd like to grow four or five of those at once in my small space, I think they'd work quite nicely. I chose the NL for a first grow mostly based on the reading I've done on this forum and others. I honestly meant to keep both plants very short initially, but that simply did not happen. She's only 19 inches at her tallest point and about 15 inches wide.
4) I'll try to post my pics of the little unknown plant and maybe someone can dial in the harvest time a little better than a noob like me. I think they still need at least a week, possibly two or a bit more. I have a jewlers loop, but honestly can't see very well through the little lens. It appears to me that even though most of the hairs are red, the triches only seem to be starting to cloud and none of them are amber yet. So, from what I've read, it's way too early to harvest. Do I dare clip off a small section of one of the frosty leaves for a better look at the triches, or will that do irreparable damage?

Pics 2186 & 2187 are of the struggling NL plant that stretched to high heaven.
I know i've asked a lot in this post, perhaps too much. I'll figure it out as i post more. Thanks for any constructive input from the community.
