Funny you say, I just popped some chocolope beans. Are they as fast as advertised?

Thanks! Sounds like you're on your way. The purpling starts late (week 6/7) and takes a while. I felt like my buds were done around week 8/9, but they all get completely covered in purple if you let them go a while, like 10+ weeks. Every single one I've grown has acted the same way. If you wait the right amount you should be left with dense purple nugs (barley any green) covered in thick bright orange hairs.

at what week did you trim your big fan leaves off querkle #3?? my plant is identical looking to that one main branch with a nice under canopy of top buds and stem buds!! i want to cut mine but im afraid it will slow down growth at a critical time.

Schmarmpit, I find it interesting that your Querkle is finishing in 10 weeks. Have you been viewing the trichomes for doneness? I got my first amber trich at day 51 of flower. A few days later Im at about 6% amber trichs on tops of highest colas, and many leaves are yellowing and curling. I may allow just a day or two more. Mine has purple on the buds, and maybe a touch on sugar leaves, but not on big fan leaves. My temp range is 70-90. I describe the flowering smell to be fruity and musty. I can't say sour grapes, but more of a Pineapple/mango. I have seen that the flowering range is from 55 to 60 days. Thanks for your posts. This strain seems to be a slow vegging, low/med yeilder, but very beautiful strain with good effects.
