Query regarding House & Garden in Coco Coir

Hi. I am new to using the House & Garden lineup for coco coir and was seeking assistance in their measurement application. The H & G nutrient feed chart states their recommended nutrient strength EC/PPM based on the specific week of grow. I’ve attached a copy of this FYI. My question is are these recommended EC/PPM milestones related to the inflow (prior to applying to the coco coir), or the runoff measurement EC/PPM??

That are saying that is the EC you want of your feed solution but I would cut that in half to start with as most nutrient companies charts are on the heavy side and some strains may take it fine while others burn up so start lower than the chart and work your way till the plant tells you it doesn’t need anymore

Cheers. I was planning on lowering their recommended dosage as I’ve used other nutrient brands and have followed the same principle.
