Question about a potential fertilizer

I have a pet rabbit, and I was curious to know, if using it's poop as a type of fertilizer would help? Does anyone know the consistency of rabbit poop?

Actually, I decided to do a little research. But I discovered that Rabbit poop, is a good source of Nitrogen, not too strong though. I've read, no one has had a burning issue with Rabbit poop. From the same source, The guy says it's actually much better than Horse, or Cow. Worse? I wouldn't say that.. Cow and Horse shee-aught just isn't as good, that's all..

Rabbits are herbavores. This is the kind of poop one would use for composting. You dont want uncomposted poop on you plants because as it breaks down, it heats up and releases nitrogen that has not been broken down to be used by plants yet. You are going to want to mix your rabbit poop with dried leaves and add a bit of water to it and wait until the all the material has become soil once again. Depending on air cirulation(a properly maintained compost has no odor other than good soil and needs to be stirred every day), moisture, poop to leaf ratio (1:3), and temperature (above 80F, below 140F), it could take anywhere from a month to two months until its ready for your plants. You dont want to add cedar chips to your compost as its high in acid and run off from it is known to kill plants.
