Question About Cloning Additives w/ AN Juicy Roots

Hi guys, I'm going to be taking my first cutting from a few plants pretty soon and I picked up some AN Juicy Roots because a buddy of mine spoke VERY highly of it.

I'm going to be using an aero style cloner with the sprayers so what I was wondering is should I just dip the roots in the gel and then just put them in the cloner with water or should I be adding anything else to the water. I know regular water is fine but I'm just curious as to what additives others use in their cloners to get the beat results. Any info would be great, thanks.

Hey. I haven't tried Juicy Roots before but this is how I usually establish my clones.

You've got to damp (not soak) your medium in diluted water which ever it is that you're using. I use the rockwool.

Cut your stem at a 45oc angle, peel off any curls from the cut and dip any exposure in your cloning gel. I used this product call Rapid Clone this is where I got it from http://www.hollandindustry.com/index.php?cPath=18

Then place your cuttings into the hole of the medium that you've just dampened, make sure the stem does not scrape the wall of the medium as it goes into the hole. as soon as it reaches the stop of the medium, pinch in the medium from the top so no light exposure will occur for the developing roots. Put it under a T5 for 24 hrs and don't let the plants get dry. Spray some water every once in awhile.

Hope this helps!
