Question about fan leaves on Veg period.

Hello everyone, and good evening.

As an introduction, find below my specs...

This is my first grow and I'm currently growing 3 plants in my small (100/100/200cm) grow tent, under a 150w, 6400k envirolight CF. Nutrientswise, I'm using biobizz stuff. At the moment, Bio-grow and Bio-Heaven. They are growing from femenised seeds, but I still can't tell if they are all fems (hope they are =D).
Anyway.... the grow is going very well so far. The leaves have a very nice green colour, the internodes distance are of around 1 to 1,5 cm and there are currently about 4 or 5 nodes comming off the main stem.

Now... The question....

There are some HUGE leaves comming straight from the main stem. Between the little leaf-branches and the main stem, there are growing some other bud-branches with their very own tops.

These leaf-branches are massive, and they cast a huge shadow on the bud-branches below. Every thing looks absolutelly great, but should I cut off these leaf-branches to let the light reach for the bud-branches below? Would this increase the grow rate of the plant in general?

Other question....

The plants are now 4 weeks old. The plant is VERY dense. The leaves are huge and the main stem is as thick as my finger, but the plants are only a foot tall (maybe less). I wanted to start flowering them by now, but I'm afraid they would be a midget plant or something. Do the plants grow a lot more when they are put to flower?

OK guys! thanks in advance for your answers!

Peace and pot!

Don't cut any fan leaves. The plant needs these to produce energy. Once the plant doesn't need them, it will take care of them on its own.

Depending on strain, plants can double, even triple in size during flower. A one month veg is good for plants indoors in a small tent.
