just use regular fertilome soil. i love the stuff myself. i would never use fox farm ocean forest for clones. i have in the past and they did not do well. just use a pro mix like regular fertilome. you only really want peatmoss, perlite, and a little lime. i wouldnt even add any lime. keep them watered lightly. if they are in small cups only water like 2-3 tablespoons. it's very easy to over water clones. you can use the the seedling and cloning soil but i like pro mix better myself. the fox farm is just way too hot. some things like vermiculite and pumice are ok but you really want none to little nutes in the soil for clones. they should already come with plenty of lime also. and too much lime can give you too high of a ph because it tries to neutralize the ph or bring it closer to 7. you want 6.3 to 6.8 for pot in soil. 5.8 to 6.2 for hydro although some people may tell you slightly different. personally though i never ph when i put my clones in cups. they seem to do fine on there own with tap water.
for soil plants personally i just use promix all the way from start to finish except i clone in an aero machine. i like fertilome but i actually like sunshine pro mix 4 aggregate plus. i do like how fertilome adds a wetting agent though so the soil isnt so dusty but i wish they had more perlite like sunshine pro mix 4. although i guess i could just buy some seperate and add.
one thing to always keep in mind with your clones is your roots NEED oxygen. dont keep them too wet. allow for good drainage, i used to always over water because i would think it wasnt enough at first. good lucky bro! hope your shit turns out killer!
