question about flavor

not to long ago i picked up this strain of grapefruit that tasted exactly like a real grapefruit. not all grapefruit that i have picked up tasted like that. i was wondering how people are able to make flowers taste like different fruits. if anyone could shed some light that would be great. i would like to try it with some other strains.

juicy jay drops just put on your bowl right before u smoke, and in my opionion nothing majes it taste better while growing more than 50 percent of growers use some kind of animal shit as fert and does ur weed taste like shit no its a waste of money to buy shit to try to flavor weed as it grows

they could have or they just had a plant that naturally tastes like that and u put a few drops on the bowl right before u load it and then smoke

As I understand it... For whatever reason, environmental factors, etc. certain strains have fruity flavors. Breeders' expertise use those traits to bring out and strengthen those flavors. I wish I knew more about it. Sounds like fascinating stuff.
