Question about grow space

What happens if a flowering plants main cola reaches the roof and has no more vertical space to grow? will lower buds get bigger? or will it just start growing sideways? will cola still get bigger and fatter?

lets talk hypothetically... if i had plants that were 4 weeks into flower. they are done stretching but are about 1 inch from their ceiling. i know the buds are capable of growing past their ceiling but will having ceiling there prevent them from growing?


i guess all in all. should i not worry about it or bend them over.

Well there is some things you can do instead of putting lights above the plants put the lights on the sides of the plants because plants grow towards there light source. But in the future I would suggest to top or low stress training (lst) which I prefer.

if i side light and the plant is out of vertical growth space will this affect yield?

u can take string and tie the top cola down as far as u can, so then u can fit the whole plant under the light.

I have had the same problem, the best thing to do is LST if your buds aren't to big if they are then they will most likely keep growing upwards and the buds will be getting smashed
