Maybe 4 in 2 or gal pots or prolly 8 clones in 1 gal bags

Id safely say 4 nice plants.

I had 3-4 when i used 250 watt cfl setup.

Def go with Atleast a 400 watt. If space isn't an ISSUE go with a 1000 watt. The 150 watt is just to small in my opinion. Hope that helps.

bro chill he was saying what he needed for amount of plants he needed
a 150 wont cut it

he didn't ask if he should go with a higher wattage light.... do people even read posts anymore?

150 Watt will support 2 plants, beware though that you might have issues with it penetrating the lower canopy. So try to do LST or SCROG grow.

For my setup, i have 150 Watt HPS up top and a few CFL lights sitting at the bottom for the lower part of the plant

150 Watt is for 2 plants in a very small 2x2 type of area. Not something you want for 4 plants. Why? Because it will not penetrate to the lower leafs, that is unless you use CFLs along with the 150 Watt

Been there done that. 1 or 2 plants max. Trust us.......if you want to grow more plants you need to use a bigger light for decent results.

FYI: normal plants sitting in the sun outside get about 10,000 lumens per sqft. The Sun Light provides 16,000 lumens, so if you can get some CFLs to add another 4,000 lumens you should be straight!

The 150 is a really nice light. Low heat compared to the higher wattage systems, and a decent footprint. Currently using one in a 26*28 inch area and it gives good coverage. I agree that LST or SCROG would be your best plan unless you plan to supplement with CFLs, growth after about a foot or so starts to drop off pretty quickly. If you want to flower +2ft tall plants with only an HPS I agree that you should look at a bigger light.
