question about lights help please =)

I was wondering how far away my 1000k watt lights should be. Right now there still babies. Thanks=)-

hey cali,

place your hand near the top of your plants, and if your hand doesnt get uncomfortable from the heat your ok... since they are seedlings or babies, they wont require alot of light right now, but when they get older keep that 1000 atleast 12" away from the top.. i stay between 12 and 18 inches away with my 1000..... so maybe keep it up a couple few feet above to start with.

maybe check into a t5 at some oint for your seedlings and veg cycle...

12 and 18 inches will work

only do 12-18inches after the plants are used to the 1k light...unless they've been grown under it the whole time...just remember they grow fast so 12 may turn to 9 real quick....an 1ks will burn tops to a crisp......peace az
