Question about LST method

Ok I did search fairly well and couldn't find an answer to this question so please don't flame me too bad if this is a stupid question.I liked the eggcrate LST method so built a frame around my grow to attach strings to form like a big grid.Problem is that the top of the grow bags are not level with where the strings are.My question is would it be possible to let the plant grow to just above the strings and then start the 90 degree bend?This would make it fairly easy for me to water but if I raise the plant itself than the board will block me.I didn't know if this would somehow take some of the benefit away from tricking the plant and figured why not ask the experts .I included a pic of one of my OG kush plants and the board behind it.Any help is greatly appreciated

i did not really undrstand th q but yes you can bend it to 90 go slow add a few degrees every day it will bud upwards still with buds shooting up out of the main stim like little colas all alnog the stem one for each node pretty cool looking get some pics also a little different to trim.

just place a screen and secure it with the means you got.

Yes, it would be possible but inefficient and slow.
