Hey all
I am about to cut down an OC bubba kush plant within the next couple of weeks, and was planning on making a drybox this time around to cut down on the smell during drying by sucking the air out of the box through a carbon scrubber. I have been reading up on making a drybox, and plan on using about a 30 gal. rubbermaid container to do so.
My question is, what size fan should i go with to suck the air out of it through the carbon scrubber? I was thinking of going with a 4" inline duct booster fan rated at 80cfm free flow air. Or, i was also looking at a 6" inline duct booster fan rated at 160cfm free flow(250cfm booster flow). Or, maybe rigging something up with a pc fan/s, but it seems like the inlines would perform a little better. My only concern about the 6" fan is that it would dry the flowers out too quickly.
Anyways, what would u guys recommend, or a completely different fan for the exhaust out of the drybox?
I am looking to keep the cost of the fan under about $80 if possible
Thanks
Brian
