question about making tincture

im about to start to make my first vegetable glycerin tincture, but im using vaped bud so i dunno what the best ratio of vaped bud to vg would be good for a strong tincture. i have 42g's of vb and 16 oz of vg. i was thinking going 3gs to every oz of glycerin.

I would just put plant matter in container, then use just enough glycerin to cover it with a bit of room to spare.

If I were you I'd double your recipe.

I used to do 4-5gsm of non vaped per oz of VG. Sometimes you need to strain your glycerine and add more herb and heat longer for strong stuff... that's why I started just using kif.

I like to use 1g of kif to 1oz of vegetable glycerine for real strong medicine. I do 50gsm and VGoz at a time and let it sit in the crock pot on keep warm for 24 hrs stirring occasionally then strained and bottled... heavy smoker friend of mine took @ 1/4 oz.of tinc at once and was couch locked and hallucinating...

do a quick wash, either qwiso or qwet. then use the concentrate made out of your buds and mix it with a little ethanol and your vg.

itll be stronger than soaking your bud in the vg

well i made a little batch last night i took 12gs of the vape bud an a little over 5oz of glycerin. it gets me high, but nowhere near as strong as id like it to be. i am gonna start using real bud an wax an keif to see which one works the best for oral tinctures. i figured hell im out of weed till my plug is right again, might as well try this cause its better than smoking the vaped weed..ugh i think ima really up the amount like 8gs of the vape bud an like 2 oz of glycerin.

for me glycerin is gonna be my best route cause i wanna either take it orally or vape an thats really the only two ways i wanna consume my bud now.

and i appreciate all the input guys thanks ima put it to use an im open to more ways/ideas on how to get the best glycerin tincture.

another thing im going to have to get right is the flavors cause this shit doesnt really taste like vanilla an i put a good bit of extract in it.

If you like your tincture pretty strong but are using abv pot you will probably really have to up recipe. I make my tincture with keif and use 7g to every 2oz glyc. Comes out super potent and only need a little.

got some going now. a little over 13gs of avb an 3oz of glycerin. two were from the previous batch hoping this one will be potent.
