Question about Michigans new act

Im looking to become a caregiver in my area Lansing, MI. I have went to the MMMA website (http://www.michiganmedicalmarijuana.org/) and looked around but I cant seem to find anything regarding the issue. I just want to know how I would go about becoming a caregiver and the forms, if any, I would need to fill out for the state or whatever. If you are from michigan or have any idea as to how to help me out please let me know!
PS- Wasnt sure where to put this post so sorry in advance if its in the wrong spot.

this should be a good thread and i will keep my eyeon it . i recall reading that you could be a caregiver for as many patients as you wanted as long as they list you as their provider. a buddy of mine said he had done some research and you could only provide fror one person but he has a rep for being half cocked i think that each patient can have only one provider if i come across any info i'll be sure to p[ost back

There's a great thread on here detailing all of the new legislature in MI. Do a search for it. I'll look for it myself and post it if I find it.

you find someone to be your patient, when they apply for their card or when they go to update an exhisting one they put you down as their caregiver. As for now thats it. I now have 2 patients!

All these answers are on the website you posted.Just have ta look around some.We are allowed 5 patients for a total of 60 plants,12 per patient.Now if the caregiver is patient too and has 5 people to cargive for than they can grow 72 plants.
Our count does include all clones,sprouts and blooming plants.Visit the site,most all the answers are already there and if not ask someone.We'll find the answer. I help mod the site and have been a member of mmma for a while.

That sounds awesome man, thanks a lot for the info. I'm gonna go check out the site some more but I just had one concern, after the patients are cleared and have written you down as their caregiver, you then receive documents of some sort to fill out? I AM INTERESTED IN JOINING MMMA I AHVE A SERIOS BACK INJURY AND WOULD NEVER TAKE OXY MORPHINE OR GENERALLY ANY OPIUM BASED STUFF IT DOESNT WORK FOR ME AND MAKES ME FEEL LIKE SHIT I ASKED MY DOCTOR ABOUT IT AND HE GOT PISSED AND TRIED TO STORM OUT OF THE ROOM AS I AM MUCH LARGER THAN HIM I PHYSICALLY DETAINED HIM AND MADE HIM DISCUSS IT WITH ME IT WAS VERY OBVIOUS THAT HE IS AGAINSTY MARY BUT HIS EXCUSE WAS THAT HE DOESNT HAVE THE FEDERAL LICENSING REQUIRED TO WRITE THE SCRIPT I WOULOD LIKE TO BE INVOLVED IN QUELSHING THIS CLOAK OF DECEIT WOVEN BY GOVERNMENT DOCTORS AND INSURANCE COMPANIES IT IS QUITE OBVIOUS TO ME THAT HELPING PEOPLE IS NOT ON THEIR AGENDA fuck doctors i will die quietly if i can have my weed same as thousands of years ago what do these jokers know about it

if its anything like CA. then you do it through your doc, like say your friend has a card and you want to be care giver then you go to the doc office and do it through there, here in ca we also have these state cards you can get through your county gov but the trend is keeping your name off gov shit so now all the docs and places like medicann all give you their own card that has a number for law enforcement to call if you get stopped and they want to check you out and make sure its legit, the card will ghet you in to clubs and all that for if you want to buy weed or clones, of course its probably different in your state so everything i just said might not apply............................god damn northern lights

hey sam one thing i disagree on it should be good damn northern lights but any way they havent setup the card system yet and im ssure that it will be a trial and error situation to find a system that works hopefully everyone involkved will use the past experience of your state as a corner stone thus eliminating a lot of stupid decisions thanx for reply++
