question about my grow

i grew bubblegum,i think i did everything right ,or alright i guess .the buds all were loaded with the resin you know the sticky stuff,i waited until the hairs were about 75% done hung for 2 days trimed sucker leaves,let dry for like 2 or 3 more days .the smell wasnt real intense smoke really good but the buzz didnt seem really great like i would think.looked like i would see on here.i was just woundering if i could have done something wrong ,im puzzled .i bought seeds from a seed bank i just cant fig it out ,any help would be great thanks

you might want to let them dry out a bit more. You could always yake a small amount and dry it in the microwave to see if you can get it any drier...

its been longer now still seems weak,man the buds look great very sticky,just not real smelly ,if i put nose right up in buds smells pretty good ,i just thought the more resin you have the better it would be.guess im wrong.now i have another plant not sure what it is ,but doesnt have all the resin on it but a million hair would it be more of an indica or sativa not sure.

read your growfax man im drying in basement open room does get some day light maybe that is part of my problem im cutting off leaves after 2 or 3 days then putting on newspaper for like 2 or 3 days cut off stem then put in baggies left open for like 2or 3 more days then smoke.could the newspaper be hurting me or daylight.i read cure for 3 or 4 weeks thats seems like my weed would be so dry it would crumble

i actually just read in a book i bought yesterday that the amount of resin and potency have nothing thats completely connected. so you could smoke a low resin yield plant and have a stronger high and in your case smoke a high resin herb and a mild high. that they arent co dependent. just what ive read guess i wouldnt know unless ive smoked the same strain though..

White satin from mandala seed bank is a very low smell/low light strain that is very easy to grow and has a great daytime high that wont have couch lock

if you start seeing little specs of white on your leaves make sure you check under the leaf, thats where they hide. i bought this stuff called trounce natural indoor insecticide and all you do is shake, spray under your leaves and then mist it up after so it doesnt burn your plant.

did you look at trichomes with a microscope if you didnt i suggest picking one up I had this problem with a grow a little ways back shit smelled, tasted, and looked top notch but the stone was far from top-notch. Now, I own the radio shack 60x-100x microscope it tells me alot. The shit i just harvested and is currently drying knocks me and my wife on our asses we have been smoking for a long damn time and this stuff is primo almost too much for during the day. Without the microscope I wouldn't have picked it for a while. Alot of the pistils were still white but after looking deeper with the microscope alot of the trichomes were amber a little under half so i put it in complete darkness for around 48 hours. Anyways enough rambling I think in the past before i had the microscope i was waiting too long possibly effecting the potency. could just be a weak dope who knows.
