Question About my Outdoor Plant

Hi Guys I have just planted my first ever marijuana crop and I am wanting some tips. I live in the south island of New Zealand and put in a plant about 5 weeks ago. I'm pretty sure I put it in a bit late for the season but i'm hoping for the best. I'll share some pictures of my plant that is about 5 weeks old, tell me what you think.

Err.... check the weather report for the area. If it's permanently outdoors, put it in the ground versus in a large pot to help it survive. Use green christmas lights to keep it warm at night and put up something to break the frost, like greenhouse plastic or insect netting. It should go straight into flowering but you could supplement light hours artificially.

Looks healthy, should be fine with the late start but dont expect huge yeilds although Ive been given clones in jan and still got 5 ounces off them. Im in Australia so weve got the similar seasons.

Thanks for your reply adgas. Yea its summer down here hahahaha. I'm still hopping its female!
Is there any way for me to sext the plant yet? or is it still too early?

Have a look at some guides about sexing plants and check yours for the correct ones.

Left it a bit late for this year man. You may get a few grams if all goes well but you shoulda had them started 3-4 months ago at the least. Good luck anyway :)

Mine are flowering. Week 2 now. Not all though. Some strains only have preflowers. Not sure If its because I topped them and made them veg longer or if the flowering ones are in too small of pots making them flower early. Anyway its fun watching the diversity. I should get quite a staggered harvest this year if all goes to plan. I love that video by the way TWS. Its totally awesome!

Like other have said a bit late but you should get a few nugs.
Or take a few clones then if its a good female strain you will know for next season and you will have a mother plant by then ready to clone for a early start next season.
