Question About Nute Schedule in Flowering

Hello,

I'm beginning week six since turning to 12/12. I'm using General Hydroponics series - Flora Grow, FloraMicro and FloraBloom.

Currently I'm using 2.5ml of Grow, 5 ml of Micro and 7.5 ml of Bloom per gallon. My two plants are drinking about a half gallon each every three days.

The nutes came with a schedule which I have been following. When do I know to change from "Bloom" to "Aggressive Bloom" to "Ripen"?

It suggests eventually to stop the FloraGrow and get heavy on the Bloom, but I don't know when or for how long.
Thanks for help.2 115.JPG2 115b.JPG3 115.JPG3 115c.JPG

With the GH 3-part that you are using, I usually use transition nutes for week 1 of 12/12 (1:1:1), then their "bloom" ratio for week 2 and then "aggressive bloom" from week 3 on out until the flush.

From your pics though, you must be doing something right. Those look great!

Thanks. I've been just doing the "bloom" ration every three waterings with a flush in between. Also adding in a tsp of molasses to each watering. The last watering I upped the bloom to a couple mL and will push to "agressive bloom" soon.

Do you not do the "ripen" part of the schedule?

I don't use the ripen part of the schedule. I just go straight to flush with plain PH'd water (and Florakleen for first couple of days of flush).

Not positive, but would assume the week before you flush. I think I remember someone posting about calling GH and how helpful they are. May be worth a shot. If you do find out, post a reply here. I'm curious what they say.

I consider bloom to be weeks 1-3 of flower, ripe to be the last 2 weeks of flowering (when plants tend to really add on the weight, and aggressive bloom to be however many weeks in between (differs from strain to strain).

Hi fisch, thanks for advice.

Would you then flush for a week after "ripen" for two weeks?

And...based on my mystery bagseed...have any idea how long I have? I switched to 12-12 40 days ago, buds showing about 33 days ago.1 119c.JPG3 115d.JPG1 119e.JPG1 119d.JPG

No problem Chief,

and yes I would then flush for a week.

I have a few plants that are just about at the same stage as yours based on the pictures, and I plan on slowly increasing the levels of P and K that I'm feeding for two weeks, then up it just a tad bit for the last week of feeding and then I plan to flush until I get about 40% amber trichs (I'm assuming about 4 weeks, maybe a lil less)

Im no pro, just my opinion, hope that helps man

Looks like you got somethign right....really, this are awesome pictures to show off.

WHatever you're doing, keep doing it.

Actually, I'd say just go with what you've been doing, and trust your gut. you seem like a grower that knows their stuff....

I know you asked about nutrients but I'm surprised no one commented about the CFL's you're using for flowering. All the info says thats a no-no...gotta use HPS or at least something red.....correct guys?
Like the others say, though...good work they look fine.

I'm using CFLs with a 2700k spectrum, as opposed to the 6500k spectrum used for flowering. It's not ideal, but that's because of their power, not spectrum color. I have harvested, FYI, a few days ago, and got about 2oz of dry bud off of it. It tastes great, but will be curing most of it for a couple months. There are a lot of fluffy buds which I wouldn't have gotten if using an HPS for flowering. But in the room I had, with the heat issues that would have come up, I really didn't have another option.

Thanks everyone for the advice/comments1 152h.JPG1 152.JPG1 152k.JPG
