Question about NUTES for bloom...

I've read that during the flowering phase, P & K should be higher than N. In the guide under the new growers section, it suggests something like 5-15-15.

Ive seen stuff like Tiger Bloom is higher in on the middle number (P). Is boosting that number beneficial? I saw some bloom nutes at Lowes today, one of which was something like 10-35-15, another 15-55-6.

Should I be looking for a better balance?

don't use the shit from random stores, i would suggest something tailored to our favorite plant. the bloom formula is like a base, then you add other mixes to it like bloom boosters, molasses, etc. adding other stuff is necessary, just beneficial.
I use Flora Nova bloom in my ocean forest soil, seems to work pretty damn well... but i also use dark matter, molasses, Kool Bloom, and humic acid.

also, every strain eats different amount at different stages, so there's no one-size-fits-all that you would really want to use.

Thanks for the reply!

I see what you are saying. I've been trying to survive on what I can find in stores, but I might as well just order the right stuff online.

I don't know what strains I'm working with (various bag seed), so I'm thinking of investing in Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom. I should probably receive it in the mail by the time I hit flowering. They seem like good bases to work with, then I can add further supplements if I need I guess.

Oh, and I also have been using that Sweet Grape sample that was sent around not long ago.

big bloom is a (shitty IMO) supplement, don't buy it! all you really need is the tiger bloom (and flush often like twice a month with it). anything that's called a 'booster' should not be used alone as the base food. unless you craaaaaaazy...

Hmm, I was gonna order tonight, but its $10+ to ship one small bottle. I recall seeing a hydro store about half an hour away. It might be worth the drive.
