So, I've been on the fence between organics and synthetics for a while. I have been trying to cycle both to the best of my ability without having all the living micro organisms die every time I water with synthetics. (you can see my current grow in my signiture for watering/nutrient details)
But, I have an idea that I wanted to run by people. Suppose you were to water 100% organic while still doing very light synthetic nutrient foliar feedings.
I know some people out there say "No! Don't foliar your marijuana, etc etc" but after a lot of research and testing, it's absolutely fine (and actually increases yield!) to foliar all the way till week 5 flower, as long as you use straight water a couple times after your last nutrient foliar feed to wash off the residue. I've done it with 4 harvests now and no negative results, not even smell/taste. But my foliar is usually organic.
So, what do you guys think? Does it sound like a good idea to get that little extra pump from synthetics while leaving the soil itself completely organic? Just curious if anyone has tried it?
Happy growing
