alright well im wondering because after i get done with this attempt my next attempt will be with seeds from a hash plant that was pollinated by a og kush hermie.. ill be trying for 2 females... with any luck and vegging for probably a month or so then flowering till they are done using a 250w hps with some cfls scattered around the plants approximately how much can two mature plants yeild?

I got 500g off my 2nd grow under a 600. Saying that, I have a background in horticultural science so probably had an advantage.
My advice would be to try and get everything right and then, watch very carefully for anything going wrong and resolve the issues as soon as possible.

If you do get over 5 oz from two plants under that watt light then you will have done something very good,i would go more towards 2/3 per plant.I use auto pot with 2 x 600 hps lights, and never do more than 4 plants with coco and canna nutes.Of my last grow i got 36 oz from the 4 ,3 of them produced 10 oz each with a weak link that produced the 6oz.the strain was a uk strain called barnsley jack,jackherer x blueberry x cheese.This grow was going well till we got a tip of something was gonna happen sure ya understand what i mean.My advice to any new grower is always be prepared to take em down if you have any reason someone may have informed on you,and tell no one i mean no one.The last grow was exodus cheese first time i have done seeds in time,but the plants looked amazing and the reason i did seeds verse clones was to see if the clones out grew the seeds and under the lighting i have stated above the answer is the seeds was a little bigger at week 4 of veg.The seeds had split after 3 days and by day 5 were 2 cm tall with there tiny 1st leaves,What i love about auto pot growing is once the roots from clones or seeds reach the bottom of there pot then its just a matter of tending to the tank 50 ltr.
thanks for all the answers guys i feel 2 plants will be plenty for my own personal recreational and medicinal use. i plan to just let my current bagseed grow naturally and see what i can pull out of them this current grow is 100% all newbie experience and experimentation next attempt i will either top, fim or lst not sure maybe ill try a different technique on each plant an see how it each works for me. im very excited to see the kind of buds that the og kush X hash plant produce cause the current hash plant that has been pollinated is a pure indica strain very very short bushy plant with a massive cola the size of my forearm from my elbow to the tips of my fingers.. its a massive bud and it has next to no lower growth just strictly a massive cola bud... the og kush plant that hermied is a very tall i believe sativa dominant with very small top cola buds but fist sized pop corn buds all over the plant.. any one have any idea of what kind of plant a cross between these two will produce? and will the seeds from the pollinated hash plant be viable to plant? whats the likeliness of genetic hermie from these seeds?

from alot of reading i have concluded that plants on the average indoor will yield 20-30 grams per plant with no training while big yeilding varities will yeild 40-60 grams with no training.LOok on www.paradise-seeds.com ,there is grow reports on a bunch of strains and you get an idea what to expect.

Yield is determined by the size of the plant and the environment. If there is an "average" of what might be grown indoors, then it is based on the size that the average person opts to grow their plant, not the actual average yield for an indoor plant.
I'm interested in scrog I've seen it and read a little about but not really sure if I know the basics of its setup. I'm looking for things to be as easy as possible. BTW my new grow space is my basement I can make the area as large as I want it to be but I prefer it to be smaller cause I only want 2 plants Max flowering at a time.. I can however grow them as tall as I want as my basements ceiling is around 7 feet tall. I'm looking for somewhere around 5-8 ounces per harvest would be optimal
I've also seen some threads on this forum of people talking about grams per Watt so that's why I included the info on my light situation so I'm wondering if there is a baseline for how many grams per Watt ppl usually see. I'm sure it dependson a number of factors and I know its impossible to give me any firm numbers

scrog is very easily done, check the link in my signature. the one downside is it was my first one and I could have done things a little more efficiently but it's mostly because I have a hard time to water them. any first time grower can do a scrog with minimal research,... I did it just gotta veg a little longer

Why do so many people ask this same question on plant yield.
"How much can I expect to get out of my grow with this and that?"
It all depends on you and your setup. You can have the best setup and crap genetics... and boom you have a crap harvest. You can have a simple CFL grow and get great result.
Many factors can come into play.
Everyone here is just giving you a wild guess... the proof is in the pudding.
Start a journal track your results and learn from your experience.
thats why i was looking for a ballpark not any exact numbers.. also i dont have a journal but i have a thread in this same newbie section with pics and questions and what not which i really do need some advice on if any of you can chime in on that thread it would be great.. btw the seeds that ill be getting are coming off of a plant that looks absolutely fantastic and smells dank as hell with a cola bud that is as long as from my elbow to my fingertips and only got a wee bit of pollen on it and we've only found 2 seeds on the entire plant. which will be chopped down this week
