Well , i've got my growbox all setup and am about ready to go shopping for fertz and pots.

My question is , is it really neccesery to plant the germinated seeds in a smaller pot/cup first , and then transplanting it to a bigger 2-3 gallon pot ?

Or can i just start with the bigger ones.

I know , planting it in smaller pots first helps the roots get a foothold, but how will planting my seed in a bigger pot effect its health ?

It will be fine to plant in a big pot. When little its easier to care for them. There are a few resons.

But its fine to go big pot right a way.

if you are growing from unfeminized seeds, you can grow many more plants in the same space until you sex them, then repot the females into larger pots. you will yield more per harvest
