question about shortryder

trying shortryder auto for first time and been hereing different things,mine are into week 4 and range in height from beautiful bushy 8 in to stringy 17 in. my questions are is this really a true auto because a few hairs have popped out but no sign of bud.also is it ok to keep them on 24 light. any other suggestions on this strain will be appreciated too thanks
