Question about spider mites and bugs

https://www.rollitup.org/marijuana-plant-problems/620239-spots-leaves-unlike-pictures-ive.html

I was just having a read, The user has similar symtoms to me, and i hope i dont have any bugs/bites.

My plant has teeny little white spots, now i thought they were just the strain showing its true colours, as this strain is the strongest whit ive ever smoked in my life, i smoked for 5 years, my relative harvested this strain and chopped some up, i smoked a gram very quickly, and basically greened out with being sick. It looks like a white widow strain with the little white spots it develops, the plant is 30 cm tall, extremely agressive growth in DWC.

Keeping in mind i have a white widow, what am i looking for, when im looking for bugs, other then the obvious, bites, spots.

Im pretty sure its just a white widow starting to show its colours, ill try to get a photo in an hour when i turn the lights off.

Just looking to see, if theres a general rule of thumb or a technique i have not yet learned.

I know this is a broad and generic question, please be gentle, im virgin.

Have you inspected foliage for the bugs? If not go check every leaf, white widow or any strain really doesnt start producing white specs on the leaves, or are they somewhere else? Some pictures were be helpful, and if you have a mite problem and want to get rid of them I recommend malathion, it is a potent pesticide and shouldnt be used without research, you make the call on wether you want to use it or not. It has not failed me yet, not a single bug problem in my gardens yet.

Pesticides and Fungicides do not phase me, i have a garage FULL of chemicals, if i got raided, id probly be questioned for simply, the sheer variety. I have malathion (or a generic brand of it). At what concentration do you use it?

Ive done alot of googling since posting this thread, and im now calmly certain it was a photosynthesis change from CFL to HPS, i misread my plant. I have since used an illuminated magniying glass at between 20x and 50x and my plant is clean.

I have a video uploading to drop box as we speak, 720p, so you can see EVERYTHING. ill be posting it in my journal.

Thankyou again Silicity, you are a real champion :)

Alright and yes changing light can shock the plant if it jumped from a low lumen light to a hid. Also if you got a lux meter you should tell me what the lux/lumens are at plant canopy, you could have the light to close. Also different strains can require more or less light, I assume yo already knew this.

Look, simply look! Its a physical thing thats there. Look really good at the underside of the leaf with the white dots, if you have mites chances are thats where they are chillin. The mites are kinda tan pale looking. Look hard if they are there you will see them, poke one with something (or use your loop) and watch it run thats how you know its them for sure. Spider mites have gota be one of the easiest bugs to detect. Hope this helps.

Cheers

I do not have bugs, it was the shock of a 20w CFL to a 600W HPS. The plant looks ridiculously good, aside from the heat stress on the top 2 leaves, i let it grow too much before i raised the ballast again.

Just want to confirm, how do i link a drop box video so you can just press play on the thread?
