Question about Sprouts! PLEASE!

I germinated 17 seeds, so far 3 have broke shell and i placed them under a Flourecent light. Question is, How long do i keep them under the light? Mind you they are New Born, Barely an inch of root is out. Any help is appreciated. Just need to know what he cycle of light is that i should keep them under right now.

Keep them under light 24 hours a day until your ready to flower them.

i like 18/6 better versus little extra growth for 24.although it has been proven 24 will grow slightly faster i find it better for them to have a rest period and also a rest period for all your poor equipment.

I usually keep them on 24 hours/day for the first few days and then switch to 18/6 for the rest of veg. I am going to be switching tomorrow. It's all in my journal.

Thanks i appreciate it. I don't want them TO tall because of the whole space factor, i dont have alot of it. lol. But i DO want them to be nice and healthy little pieces of work. So im just tryin to compromise the best i can. Thanks alot.
