Question about Temp/RH.

Hi guys, I just had a quick question in regards to the environment for cannabis plants. I know the ideal temperature and humidity should be around 77-83 degrees/50-55% RH. But how do outdoor plants grow so dank if the temps are sometimes a lot higher? Or the RH is sometimes a lot lower? I know some people here in SoCal that grow some dank buds outside. The climate in my area is very hot and dry. Does the climate primarily effect the growth rate rather than the quality and yield amount?

Not sure about your question, but illI have a few plants outdoors in the spring, I live in the Mojave desert. Tomato's are exploding with very small daily watering, 50% shade cloth directly overhead, and hardware cloth to keep the rabbits and squirrels off of them. Hopefully my medicine will do well too.

This plant genus has species that thrive around the globe, including the tropics and cold mountainous regions.

While it’s certainly important to have a target environment range, there are many factors at play including genetics. Keeping your plant within ideal ranges will certainly help towards your yield as well as quality though.

Think of it this way, outstanding genetics will produce a perfect phenotypical example of a German Shepard. The handler however, needs to train the dog, groom it and maintain its health. To be it’s best and win the dog competition, it needs care AND a good bloodline.

Your climate, care and genetics are all determining factors in growth speed, quality, production and plant health.
