Hey,

When putting the seed in the Rockwool, Do I put the grow medium over the rockwool even over the whole that is made for the seed?

In essence, Should I put grow medium over the rockwool?

no dont put it over the rockwool.i put my cubes were my mist from my air pumps barely hits the bottom of my rockwool then i fill my medium around the rockwool but not all the way to the tops of the cubes.

No need to cover the top of your rockwool. I would cover the rockwool after the stem has grown up a bit and has rockwool. I believe covering the top of rockwool after the stem is growing helps eliminate algae growth and from drying faster than it should from the lights...that is my 2 cents.

ROCKWOOL is a medium. I use it through out my entire grow. I germinate, then put it in the rockwool and never transplant again. I use my own drip system and rockwool works the best and I cover the rockwool with panda film and it never gives me any problems.
