It wouldn.t be the best idea to use your personel email or ebay account to my thinking... if an item showed up at my house with someone elses name on it and just so happens the cops were tagging it it would be a little bit harder for them to say YOU bought it i would think.

Especially if your using the same email to buy the items and to get on here and talk about it.
For sure...lol...no, i didn't use my email for this either...I'm a noob, not a boob...lol...but I def appreciate you looking out.

i think for you setup you would be happy with the flat white paint, beats a 2hr drive lol
Definatly beats a two hr drive...also, I don't think mylar is the best fit for my grow...not yet, at least...I know its JUST Mylar, but I need to read that thread about the reflective properties of Mylar vs another material or agent ( like flat psint) also, somebody ( I apologize BC I'm no good with names) highly recommends behr brand paint.

They are not interested in spending hundreds of man hours tracking down a pothead growing two plants in his closet. I've bought a ton of stuff off fleabay and online hydro shops and never a worry about cops. They can't bust you for buying lights or mylar.

Well, I didn't think they would bust me, but I also don't want to be anywhere near their radar...I'm in a very small town in the bible belt, and there have been many grow op busts in the recent past. I've been to the local Walmart to purchase some mg soil, and Epsom salt, and everyone in the gardening section crowded around me and was totally blowing up my spot, u know? And I mean ALL the gardening employees...I think the sheriff office and the local stores like Walmart and home depit, etc have some type of communication between them for these types of purchases...at least here in the bible belt...

I did several grows when I lived in Georgia so I know what you mean. I never sweated it when buying stuff at Wally World but when I needed hydro supplies or something more specific I made a trip to Hotlanta to Atlantis Hydroponics. It was a drive but worth it for the peace of mind. If you're really paranoid, just go to the next town where they have a Wal-Mart and buy there.

who really cares if theres a paper trail? Don't tell anyone you're growing and you're good to go. They aren't going to go door to door to hydroponic shops with warrants and bust everyone buying grow supplies. Fuck I'm growing tomatoes hydroponically, if a cop came to the door I'd tell him to get the fuck out of here

So, essentially, cash is the way to go, but I will have a prepaid card on hand, just in case...the nearest grow store is about 2 hours away, and, if anything, do you think setting up a bogus email acct for such transactions that have an email associated with them would be a possible remedy for this situation? If not, what would be a resolution to this problem?
I've used pre-paid cards online for seed several times. I got busted, but in no way was that related to my online purchases. I'll let y'all know if anything about it is in my discovery package tho...
Dude, you want to avoid the "Hydro" shop like the plague. Especially in person. The cops are notorious for staking them out and taking down tag numbers. And it's so much easier to get a court order for the transaction records of a local comapny as opposed to getting that info from a seed bank located in another country. As for the IP thing, use Tor or some other in-private browser. www.torproject.com It's free, and you'd be a fool not to take advantage of free security, seeing as how you're quasi-paranoid anyway by your own admission. Better safe than sorry.

LOL TOR is supported by the US Navy, they have tor servers in support of them. TOR is no where near secure, your best bet is to use an anonymous proxy or if you can't find one make one with a trojan'd torrent. Just gotta make it undetected and the program for that only costs $50-$100 depending on the cryptor you buy

Tor was originally a Navy project, (it is not now supported by the US NAVY) but it has since been taken over by the open source community. Since all open source is community written, it is FAR more secure than anything out there. There is even a new version. I never said it was bulletproof, it's only one link in a security chain.
The Navy does NOT have servers that track them, even if they did, that server would be but one in a whole swarm of servers your IP is bounced thru.
There are a few others out there as well, I merely mentioned Tor, since that is what I use.

I never said it was a navy project, I said the navy has servers in tor and support tor. And a trojan'd proxy is a LOT more secure than TOR and a lot more fast. TOR is backtrackable. A hacked computer is not. The only way it is somewhat secure is like the secret websites that sell drugs, they meet you half way in the middle to do the transfer.

LONG story. In the toke and talk there is a thread called I needed to bounce this off the community. I had grown in my commercial shop, and the official story is that someone broke in, and when my neighbor showed up for work the next morning, he saw the broken door, and called the cops instead of me. I personally think my daughter had something to do with the break in. I'll know more when I get the discovery.
Once I find out for certain exactly what happened, the community will get a full report.
