Question about weed ripeness

So I have to go awaY to school in earlY september and sadlY mY plant will not be done. I'd hate to harvest earlY, but I have no choice. MY question is will the weed still be smokable when it is at at least a couple weeks immature. Thanks.

the potency will be way less, but i guess that low potency is better than no potency. also, more than likely your buds will be pretty fluffy, but again, better than nothing.
