Question about when to harvest

Hey guys, just curious what you guys think. Typically I would harvest around this time with the buds looking like that. However I just wasn't sure if I should wait a little longer. Everything always says to wait till the tricheomes are cloudy and some amber but I've been growing for a while now and never seen amber trichomes. They are always clear to more white. How long does it normally take for the trichomes to get more cloudy ? I have the lights right on it. I

If you aren’t hurting for bud, I’d certainly let it go longer. If nothing else you’ll maybe learn personal preference. Good luck.

Lol, ya, that's usually the reason I end up harvesting a little earlier. This time I'm in no rush. I just want to maximize the quality and taste.
I'm going to be purchasing seeds again shortly, where do you buy your seeds from? I got mine from Ilove growing mj site , the bud turned out pretty good. The bud is always good for me my issue with growing has been getting the proper taste I'm looking for...
I was thinking about making vape oil bc I have like a pound of some good pot just very harsh and not tasting how I want .

Give me some details about what you want, be as specific as you can, price range included, and I will point you to the best direction I can manage. I have been researching this stuff quite a bit over the last 4 years, and I am by no means an expert, but I would love to help.

I want both main strains bc i grow 4 me and family. Taste is most important.i want a flavorful bud,I don't want earthy taste, I want a more fruity taste or just a strong taste and odor., I want the bud to taste like it smells when brokenup. I don't want any bud that has an earthy taste or smell. I prefer pot that gives you a little boost instead of knocking you out.i have bad anxiety but I love smoking pot, the two don't vibe well at all. I prefer sativa that's high in limonene,linalool but I'm still doing research into figuring out the best strain I'm looking for. The stuff I have now has an earthy smell and harsh taste like you don't really taste the pot like you should. Probably has something to do with how I grew the plants bc i bought good seeds and when I break up the pot it smells great.

I have done a bunch of research myself during the last few years and vetting breeders and finding quality strains creates the most successful grows, I believe! If you are ever up for a discussion about it, please PM me sometime! I would love to share notes with you!

Just use the looking glass and take a look on the trichomes, man! If orange-rusty then harvest if white then soon harvest if else then no harvest yet

Taste and smell doesnt always translate sometimes it does but mostly nah and if somethings earthy it is probably just a earthy strain i think what your describing is well over ripe bud i like mine ripe some would say over cooked but i will admit theres a point where you lose smell and taste if you let it go way too far you still gotta dry and cure it right of course also dont go by terps cos just cos it has some you like your not taking into account everything else thats in it if you like non racy sativa type smoke cali orange or esb and stuff like that is what you want after all its the effect your seeking without paranoia obviously you want good taste too but your clearly more sensitive to stuff than me why i reccomend those two there nice easy going sativa dom hybrids that dont bring the fear in anyone ive met so far
